Culture is the «glue» that holds people together or in the absence of culture people fall apart. The culture influences how people think, feel, and behave. It starts at the top and filters down. It can healthy and productive or unhealthy and toxic. But it is allways powerful.
Jim Rohn said once, «Never understimate the power of influence». That's so true. If you are at the top of a company, no matter the size, if you are a leader, be sure that all you do it's seen as an influence to your followers. Yes, what they do is a simple mirror of what you do daily.
Influence is perception, perception is behavior, behavior is action, action is result. The result is feedback. Like it or not, feedback is a response of a chain. Is not a cataclismic event. Is the last link of a process.
So, if you want to make something great, you have to start by yourself. Your example can influence others. Your behavior probably will be the behavior of others, and, by then you are already a leader. Now is time to measure the result. The culture. Positive ou negative, wrong or right... It's all about you.
